RBI Grade B Exam Pattern
It is important to know the detail about RBI Grade B Exam Pattern and RBI Grade B Exam syllabus.
The RBI Grade B Exam is taken in three stages that are following:
- Phase – I Examination
- Phase – II Examination
- Interview
There will be small changes in the individual topics asked in each stage of the examinations by the RBI.
The RBI Grade B exam pattern iit consists of two phases and after that taken an interview stage.
The answer type pattern has also change in each phases, in Phase-I only objective questions are included.
In Phase-II write explanatory answers . The exam pattern for both of these stages is given below:
RBI Grade B Exam Pattern for General Officer Post:
Detailed information of RBI Grade B exam pattern for General Officer is given below:
Phase I online examination (Objective-Type): The Phase I exam paper is of total 200 marks. This exam has four sections, General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning.
Each section having a different set of questions. Candidates are 120 minutes to solve this question paper.
This question paper is in two language English and Hindi.
The language option will be select at the starting of the test. Candidates have require for each test to score minimum marks separately and also in aggregate.
If the candidates passed the Phase I exam then it will called to give Phase II exam. 1/4th of the marks are deducted as a penalty, if given wrong answer.
Phase I Exam Structure

Phase II exam: After the passed Phase I candidates can be given the Phase II test. Exam is taken in shifts Candidate are compulsory to appear for all shifts. Paper I & III have objective & descriptive type question and Paper II is descriptive test.
The Paper I & III has 120 minutes time duration and Paper II has 90 minutes. All paper are set in English and Hindi. Each section is for 100 marks , total 300 marks.
Paper I and III have some question are two marks and some are one mark.
In descriptive paper of Paper I and III will have 6 questions.
From that question candidates need to attempt 4 questions. 2 question are 15 marks and 2 are 10 marks.

Phase III (Interview):Based on the aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II candidates are shortlisted for the Phase III interview.
Before giving interview candidate need to be giving Psychometric Test.
This test have not marks and it will not considered for final selection.
The interview has taken for 75 marks. Candidates may have given interview either in Hindi or English.
Final Selection is totally depend on merit list which which have completed after by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.
RBI Grade B Exam Pattern for DEPR Post:
DEPR post exam has consists of three papers, I , II & III. Paper I is totally based on objective type questions and Paper II and III is based on Descriptive Type questions.
In paper I , all question on Economics are included and it is first phase of selection process.
Paper I is total 100 marks paper and 120 minutes are duration of this paper.
If the candidates have passed with minimum aggregate marks in Paper I then it will be qualify for Paper II and III.
Paper II and Paper III are taken in shifts. Paper II is taken offline and Paper III are taken online.
Paper-II has questions from Economics and Paper III will have questions from English.
Paper-II answers may be written either in Hindi or English and Paper III answers written in English only. Candidates performance in Paper II and III, then candidates called for an interview.
The final selection of candidates is depend on Paper I, II ,III & Interview. The interview is of 75 marks. The RBI Grade B exam pattern structure is given below.

DSIM post exam has consists of three papers, I , II & III. Paper I is totally based on objective type questions and Paper II and III is based on Descriptive Type questions.

Paper I is total 100 marks paper and 120 minutes are duration of this paper. If the candidates have passed with minimum aggregate marks in Paper I then it will be qualify for Paper II and III.
