Responsibilities
- Plan and execute software testing activities.
- Develop automated test suites using Squish.
- Installation testing on all supported OS’s.
- Work with development, support and testing team members to define test specifications that will ensure new and enhanced features will effectively meet the needs of end users.
- Report testing results and defects found, follow up on failed tests to ensure that the defects are resolved.
- Communicate and coordinate testing activities with development and other testing staff.
- Develop test case documentation.
- Help develop efficient software testing techniques.
Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering), with 0 to 1 year of Software testing experience.
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of software testing techniques.
- Good programming skills, (knowledge of Python and PyQt a plus)
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux based operating systems.
Desired Characteristics
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
